The tank was also specially configured to allow the low 800mm seat height. This was possible in large part because the combination of a compact engine and monocoque frame gave the ergonomic engineers a wide degree of design freedom. Usually, the seat point is located rather high in order to contribute to responsive handling, but the ZZR’s engineers were determined to achieve responsive handling with a comfortably low seat height. The ergonomic seat has a minimal height difference between front and rear, ensuring both high comfort and excellent freedom of movement of the lower body for both rider and passenger alike. Creating a seating position that enables the passenger to better fit with the rider means a more comfortable experience for both, even during high-performance cruising.
